I am a Certified Personal Trainer through the National Academy of Sports Medicine (NASM) and have been training clients of all fitness levels for over 6 years. I believe in a holistic approach to health and fitness by encompassing cardiovascular fitness, muscular strength and endurance training. Living a fit, healthy life became a passion of mine after seeing loved ones affected by chronic diseases that were preventable with early detection and healthy lifestyle choices. I believe in using science and research to make fact-based recommendations regarding your exercise and nutrition programs.

 

It is rewarding to see clients progress through all phases of their individualized nutrition and fitness plan and I take great pride in being part of their transformation. I look forward to inspiring, guiding and celebrating with you as you reach your goals!

I am a Certified Personal Trainer and Certified Fitness Nutrition Specialist through the National Academy of Sports Medicine (NASM) and have a BS in Business Management from Stevenson University in Baltimore, MD. I spent over 10 years as a Senior Business Consultant traveling around the country, balancing a healthy, active lifestyle and demanding career. I can relate to the busy schedules many of our clients have and I am able to create custom training sessions for maximum effectiveness. I have fully dedicated myself to help others improve the quality of life through proper nutrition and exercise.

 

I incorporate my passion and enthusiasm for health to empower clients of various levels of fitness reach their goals through fun, energizing and innovative workouts! I train clients for strength, weight loss and functional fitness through individualized programs, proper form and technique. I will work closely with you to push past the comfort zone to achieve your goals and get maximum results!

Working in the fitness industry is my passion because I am able to make a direct impact on a person’s quality of life. My interest in the field began after spending my undergrad years competing in track and field. I became interested in the science of training and earned a bachelor’s degree in physical education in 2008 from Hillsdale College in Michigan.

 

Since then, I have worked with a wide range of clientele, from professional athletes to children with developmental disabilities. For the past five years, I have specialized in adaptive exercise for people spinal cord injury, brain injury, multiple sclerosis, and other conditions. Working with these populations has opened my eyes to how powerful exercise can be in improving physical and mental health. I am a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist through NSCA, a Performance Enhancement Specialist through NASM, and I recently completed a master’s degree in Kinesiology with a concentration in Adaptive Sports from A.T. Still University. I am currently working on a second master’s in occupational therapy. In the future, as an occupational therapist, I hope to promote fitness as a means of improving activities of daily living.

I am NASM certified personal trainer who has an unmovable passion for fitness that equally matches my fun, down-to-earth personality. Over the course of 2 years, I have worked with clients of all backgrounds, physical capabilities, and fitness goals. I am also certified as a Corrective Exercise Specialist, Fitness Nutrition Specialist, and Weight Loss Specialist.

 

In 2016, I left a career in the finance industry to pursue my passion today: to help others live happy, healthy, and humble lives. Life is too short to not do what you love and that is something I live by every single day. Helping others see changes in their body, mind, and soul is what pushes and motivates me to help my clients be the best version that they can be.
